Don’t toss your shampoo yet…

It was all over the news yesterday that WE’RE KILLING OUR BABIES WITH SHAMPOO! Chemical leach through their precious skin and melt their reproductive organs. It’s the end of the world. It will be just like that movie Children of Men and it’s all due to us and our fascination with… AHHHHH! Take a deep breath. Calm down. I actually hunted down the research article in question and read it through in its entirety last night. One of THOSE days.

December 14 Where something feels like it got done, yet there wasn’t much time to reflect on what that was. On the other hand, for example, there was so much done that there was too little time to write something real here. I know that sucks. Retirements. Cheese. Photographs. Hope. Funny how that works.

babies, babies everywhere

I guess, first out: congrats to my brother and sister-in-law. After a day of labour Karin and I are now aunt and uncle to a borned baby girl, Julia. We’ll be heading south soon to visit the latest edition to the family. In the meantime, Derek will be keeping us all up to date via Jululuia’s blog and photo gallery. Also, a bit of belated nod is due to Gene and Lily’s new boy Keaton, born just over a week ago. The best I could muster for yesterday was a Final grade approval on my lot and a whole bunch of new photos from the yard progress. More pictures, this time of our recent camping trips, coming soon. Oh yeah, and BABY pictures. Definitely.

thoughts in order

Thoughts in order: about a 71% tariff on them babies, eh? Nice to see we have some recourse, even if it is only a vegi-victory. With power returned to my computer I can now actually do some work. Apparently the fans blew the breaker last night. We were a little drier this morning, but “powerless” to do anything when we got to work…. sigh…
