I find it slightly unsettling that the first thing I looked at on the television after returning home was related to my trip. I was jetlagged — extremely jetlagged — and I slumped into the chair to rest for a bit — and upon flicking the clicker the dim-witted cartoon “Bob and Margaret” appeared. [...]
Well.. un.fortunately (for the sake of this story, but very fortunate for the girl) that is not what happened. Simply, when I got off the bus — after we’d passed this girl by about a block an I had had a chance to actually walk a few steps — the girl stopped and waved me over.
So, the may long weekend has once again crept by, and here we are.. the next big vacation who knows how far away. But all is not lost. I did have a relatively interesting few days.
