I’m happily back in the black-slash-green this afternoon after a seven klick, post-work jaunt.
Those who are playing along already know that I obsessively track every fractional bit of distance I run, and part of that tracking involves hacking the year’s goal into 365 equal parts and comparing my ongoing effort ACTUAL distances and my the ROLLING total with the ROLLA value (where I should be if I was actually running an equal daily distance.) If the YTD GAP is negative (and red) that means I’m behind. If the YTD GAP is positive (and green) that means I’m on track or ahead.
As of this afternoon it’s green again… for the first time since running Disney in January. So… that’s cool, right?
