Photo-Folio

No one has really asked to where that photoshoot challenge disappeared. But alas, that’s how these things fade away sometimes.

Rather than resurrect the contest as it were, I decided — amidst as I am a two month flurry of photographic endeavors — to set up something a little more personal and a little less public.

Specifically, over the next couple years I’d like to develop a kind of photographic portfolio based around the idea of a few interesting collections of pictures. I thought about going through what I’ve already done, but I don’t know that this captures the essence of what I’m trying to accomplish. Instead, I thought I’d pick a theme each month and work towards capturing a small sample of interesting shots that fit that theme. For example, and because I’ve already got one that fits this, I’m going to choose for the month of August the theme: WINDOWS (though not the Microsoft kind, the paned glass kind.)

As I go along, I’ll set up a gallery/album/photoaccount of some kind for readers to examine the results.
