“Russ.” Shen-Li shouted from the media room. “Russ — everybody — get in here!”
We tripped over each other dashing from our desks and clambering to close the short distance. Shen-Li was reclined on our faux-leather couch, mouth agape as she watched the local television news, the short segment she had hailed us to witness just drawing to an end as we arrived.
“…Though representatives from the local gum company were reluctant to comment on the vandalism, insisting that Cheeky Gum did not endorse the local street artists.” The anchor concluded and the Shen-Li clicked mute and spun her head to look at us, her jaw still hanging slack.
“Those are not our installations.” Beth said, her voice level.
