My shutter finger was getting a little itchy. As I sit here on a Friday night looking for an excuse to blog, looking for an excuse to take and post more pictures, looking for justification to bid higher on some ebay photo gear, and looking for an excuse not to be sad about spending a perfectly good weekend trudging around the house plunking on the computer and reading the last third of JPod, I thought I would remember December.
For those who do not quite recall there was a month of self-imposed frantic photography as I posted a daily picture of my snow-month, holiday-seasoned, rapidly-growing daughter (and dog). Overwhelmed by that thirty-one day abundance of new pictures, I’ve since been on something of a photographic sabbatical. Which is a shame. Because I need to keep taking pictures. NEED.
* Deep Breath *
So, what else could I do? Here’s round two. From the twenty-second to the twenty-second — for Claire’s sixth month of life — we’ll be snapping yet another round of dailies for the gallery and incorporating them in the blog. If it is again like last time three things will happen: (1) I will get neurotically stressed over the project, (2) I will take far more than one photo per day and (3) there will result a small collection of priceless pictures of our little daughter.
What else can I say: enjoy the ride.
