Running Man

December 30
Don’t call it a New Year’s Resolution, exactly. Call it — well — I’m not sure.

I was sitting around watching television on Friday night thinking how good it felt to get outside and get some exercise. I flicked over to this odd British weight-loss show where they were examining some poor sap’s stools (really) and talking about how he was probably going to die of diabetes or heart disease. And the next thing I knew I was on the computer signing up for a Running Room 5K running clinic starting in (very early) January.
I guess by March I’ll be running five clicks with ease.
No, not the best time of year to take up an outdoor sport, I’ll admit. But I sort of figure it this way: if I can run in the winter, then I have no excuse to avoid it in the summer. The inverse does not necessarily hold true.
For whatever it’s worth, I suppose… bring on the pain.
What kind of stool was he sitting on?
I think your spelling and grammar are both incorrect. You wrote “sitting” and forgot the “h” — and you wrote “on” instead of “out”.
Your December 31st entry is very enlightening. Claire looks like she really enjoys the chair and jolly jumper.
