Get this. Strange coincidence, or what? This morning the US dollar and the Canadian dollar were equal for the first time in nearly thirty-one years. The last time that happened (again, about thirty-one years ago) was November 1976. I’m nearly thirty-one years old. In fact, I was born in November 1976. Karin is just nearly nine months pregnant and our own kid will be born (I’m speculating here) in the next week or so. You can draw your own conclusions. In fact, in you believe in that sort of stuff you may want to correlate the market forecasts for the next week with the historical trends right around November 23rd, 1976, and go have a shot at the baby pool.
