Last of the London Pics. Really.
It’s been over a week since we got back from vacation and I’ve had this nagging task hanging over my head. I know most of you don’t care, but I just gotta get these pictures posted so I can get on with more pressing tasks. And it’s nearly done. So without further ado…
Album The Twelfth
If you enjoy more concrete images you may not like this album. I tend to… ah… point-and-click, and often the target is a little… ah… less than traditional. I told Karin, I’m not going to London to buy souvenirs. I’m going to take lots of photos. That I accomplished.
The above image links to London in Abstractions and Icons, and it may answer such questions as: Why is Karin running her fingers across the Rosetta Stone? How many people have scribbled their name atop St. Pauls cathedral? And, where have all the pirates gone?
Album The Thirteenth
And the following is the exact opposite of the last album. So much for abstractions, there are just some photos that you gotta snap. Photos that everyone takes. Photos that (in some cases) we stood in line to take. I know you may recognize most of these.
The above image links to London in Famous Sights, and it may answer such questions as: What time was it in Greenwich, and does anybody even care? What do you do if you find yourself in Hogwarts? And, what’s the best place to buy an English dictionary?
Album The Fourteenth
Finally, for those who have bared with me for this pictorial trap of a vacation slide show, you’ve survived to the very last album. And it’s a short one. Because, simply, where else would I put photos of us running through the world’s second largest hedge maze?
The above image links to London in Fun and Games, and it may answer such questions as: What’s Karin’s mini-golf handicap? How does one buy art in a crowded London market? And, who decided that running around a giant hedgemaze was a good idea anyhow?
And that is that. Our humble, little, pre-baby, ten-day, hop-skip-and-jump, seat-sale, wish it would never end, London vacation. Yes, there are a tonne more photos. No, I’m not posting any more. If you want to see the rest (no really) you need to come over sometime and flip through. Otherwise, aces. Done.
