IMPORTED FROM OUR TRAVEL BLOG: Brad, Karin (and Ryan) Do Europe ‘06
One free morning in Poland… It’s sunday, and most of the churches are closed. Instead, we’re busy shopping. Karin buying prints to frame when we get home in each city, and I’ve taken lots of photos out and about.
Last night was a bit of a blast. We went into the city square of Krakow for a beer around 9. We were having a chat with som nice folks from Australia (from our tour) when we got to witness a rumbling bit of a soccer riot. The police showed up in full riot gear and the waiter told us to get off the street so we wouldn’t get beat up.
This morning, a bit of a bus tour. Some historic sights around Krakow, including the castle and Schindler’s (List) factory. This afternoon: a tour of the local salt mines, and tomorrow: Auschwitz.
Finally.. PHOTOS! Click the thumbnail.
Sorry, about the buggered bits. The best I could do. Struggle on.
