The red truck is gone. Dad sold her up the creek last night, delivering her to her new owner sometime in the evening. Poor guy: he tried to deny it but he sounded a little choked up on the phone. Probably, almost as hard as selling off a first-born child — or something. I’m sure he negotiated visitation rights, though, so all is not lost.

The EurekaMobile, on the other hand, just passed her first thousand clicks this morning on our commute to work, and is otherwise holding up very well. We’ll be running her through her paces over the next few days, no doubt, but other than her newfound commuter-lifestyle, over the past two weeks, she’s had it pretty easy.
