I’m only writing, because after a brutally invigorating evening of climbing I can happily report that not only did I challenge and obliterate a particularly difficult five-eight wall tonight, I blazed up my first five-nine! My mom would be so proud — if only she had the slightest clue what I was talking about. Speaking of family, as I write this Derek is in the process of sending us some pictures from the future — or at least from another time zone, in day I won’t reach until sometime tomorrow. Apparently he attended a family reunion today, tomorrow, yesterday… I give up. And for those not visiting my sister’s webpage regularly: I finally finished those aesthetic changes I had been planning to amend it with. I’m sure she was sick of the “bruised” black and blue theme, just as much as I was. Hopefully she’s not too bitter that I updated it: I don’t think she’s noticed yet. At least, she hasn’t called me to yell. |
