Karin was supposed to have an x-ray today. It is among the opening paragraphs of chapter three in her kidney stone saga. I haven’t heard from her since this morning’s phone call when she was seeking some sort of cohesive knowledge from the hospital regarding a time and a place and — if all else failed — a hint that someone even knew who she was. Joy. The tumbling adventure continues.
