six minutes to lunch

And it’s only Tuesday.

I find myself with little to talk about. My thoughts seemed to be focussed somewhere between work and the fact that in about two and a half weeks Karin and I are getting married. How wacky is that?

Over the last little while, time has seemed to both slow down to a non-existent crawl, but also speed up so that I blink and days go by at a stretch. It’s freaky. It’s wild. It’s completely cliche — but then cliches have to come from somewhere, right?

:::How to tell when your wedding day is closer than you realize:

5 : Your coworkers are continually asking you how your doing. “Are you ok? You look pale…”

4 : The wallet feels a little slim because your next paycheque after you get married!

3 : Your next laundry day is planned so that you’ll have clean clothes for your honeymoon.

2 : You start eating a little less because you don’t want to fill up before the reception (which is costing more money than you care to understand!)

1 : You can no longer plan to see new movies that are being previewed on television because you’re “getting married that weekend…”
