deal.of.the.week
I wandered into FutureShop at lunch today and discovered (on their clearance rack) a perfectly.functional, still.in.the.box dex drive for my current sad.old playstation for the startling price of $5 (regular $60). I had just picked up new memory card last week to play FF7 — as my last attempt mysteriously vanished into the thin air of digital nothingness — and while doing so longingly wished I could have fallen back on a dex drive to back up those precious hours of video game bliss onto my computer (also old and decrepit, but less so). But for five bucks… hey, you can’t even get lunch for that these days, seen?
If nothing else Karin will like the fact that I quickly (without much effort) found a save file for Disney Magical Racing Tour wherein all the levels are available. Now she can play THAT with some possible variety.
website mixup
For those not visiting the airless bliss that is our sad attempt at a wedding website, you will not have seen the little mixup we experienced on the detail card inserts, unfortunately discovered after they were mailed. Sigh. Proofreading is good.
