Coming to you live from Toronto this morning where the nuances of the company database are being force fed into my brain at an alarming speed. One highlight is that — apparently — this building where I am perched 26 floors above street-level is the same building that houses the Toronto Stock Exchange. No shouting and screaming like you see on tv, though. It’s all done with computers, and we in our windowless classroom can’t even see the street let alone the excitement of money trading. I guess working for a non-profit organization leaves us in a position where we are wanting money — and if it is out of sight, it is out of mind, right? Either that or it’s a big tease…
