bights.of.the.day: that’s knot really too funny…

1… Karin is taking me out to supper tonight to celebrate her first paycheck. I guess I shouldn’t eat too much.

2… Derek’s interview was 4 and a half hours long. On the up-side he got to ride in a Humvee around the compound. If he wins he’ll be building robots for the army: does that sound a little too much like a television show?

3… My sister-in-law’s birthday was yesterday. I would have sent a card, but she hates cards and would have thrown it out (probably, I’m assuming) - so I called instead.

4… It’s finally raining. This is only good because my apartment is hot and I was not too impressed. Now it has cooled off considerably.

5… In about 4 hours it will be the weekend. The long weekend. The much needed, probably not deserved, but welcome, long weekend. Ahhh….
