The time is continues to plod onwards: plod… plod… plod… and I have little to report other than in 6 and a 1/2 hours I will be on a flight East. Hopefully. Barring any big delays. And Karin has packed up her computer and sent one final email telling me not to expect any more letters from her: at least from Edmonton. Packed with fruity goodness, my notice to the staff has been very well received: that was not necessarily my intention and I wonder just how bored people in the other offices are if they are soooo amused by my silly writings. It’s going to be one of those afternoons where I slowly lament over the fact that now is not really the time to start anything new. Nor is it a time when I really want to be working on anything too deep. So I think I will organize my desk so it doesn’t seem so messy for the next week. |
