The things we don’t know…

Here’s how my morning starts:

Step 1: Arrive casually at office, turn on my computer, and open my email.

Step 2: Notice that Karin has sent me an electronic greeting card.

Step 3: Open the greeting card, which is consequently wishing me a happy “Pi” day… March 14… 3.14… Pi… get it?

Step 4: Try to explain the card to people in the office – often resorting to hand gestures, large informative diagrams, and extensive eye-rolling.

Step 5: Retreat to the relative safety of my cubicle after numerous attempts to unsuccessfully complete Step 4.
